Our Bariatric toilet has been specifically designed to offer increased levels of comfort for the larger user. Standard sized toilets can be uncomfortable for some larger users with options being limited to commercially designed and institutionalised type products. Our Bariatric toilet is over one third size bigger than a standard toilet with a massive bowl width of 420mm compared to c. 355mm for a standard sized toilet. Not only that, but its ‘footprint’ is substantially larger offering greater stability and comfort. It has been designed and constructed with additional strength in all key areas and with seat fitted will accept weights up to 400kgs. With the seat removed the toilet can accept heavier weights, although we suggest talking to your local OT or healthcare professional for advice.
The toilet is available with dual-flush push button fittings which are of course WRAS Approved.
The soft close toilet seat was specially designed for this set being extremely strong and durable weighting 3,3kgs and manufactured from Duroplast material. Extra strong stainless steel hinges are included as standard.
